Invite colleagues to your company

3 min read · Updated May 8, 2026

DraftKite companies are multi-user workspaces: every member has their own DraftKite account but shares the subscription and access to the inboxes the company owns. Roles decide what a member can do, and an allowlist controls exactly which mailboxes each person has eyes on.

Three roles — what can each of them do?

Owner

  • Can do everything: invite/remove members, change billing, upgrade/downgrade plans, delete the company.
  • There is always at least one owner. You can appoint more by making an admin an owner.

Admin

  • Can invite and remove members, edit settings, and connect new inboxes.
  • Cannot change billing details or delete the company.

Member

  • Can see and use the inboxes they have access to via the allowlist.
  • Cannot invite others or change company settings.

How to invite

  1. Go to /virksomhed/medlemmer.
  2. Click 'Invite member'. Enter an email address and pick a role.
  3. The recipient gets an invitation email. They accept by clicking the link and signing in (or creating an account with the same email).
  4. Once they've accepted, they appear in the member list with their chosen role.

Invitations expire after 7 days. You can always send a new one.

Allowlist: who sees which inboxes

By default, a new member sees no inboxes — you explicitly assign which mailboxes they can work in. That means your social media manager can see 'social@' while the finance team sees 'billing@', without any overlap.

Assign access under the member's profile → 'Inboxes' → pick from the dropdown. Owners and admins have access to all of the company's inboxes by default.

Seat billing

Per-seat plans are billed per active member, including owners and admins. When you add a member, the seat count on your Stripe subscription updates automatically; when you remove a member, seats are adjusted down at the next billing period.

A member who hasn't accepted their invitation yet does NOT count as a seat. Only once they're active.
